The Calgary Flames are hoping no practice makes perfect when they face the Canadiens at Scotiabank Saddledome this Friday at 9 p.m. (SN, RDS, TSN 690 Radio, 98.5 FM).
The team had their morning skate cancelled following a positive test for COVID-19 on Thursday. In the end, Josh Leivo was added to the league’s COVID protocol list.
In the case of the Habs, they can’t get enough practice: they held an optional morning skate Friday, and decided to hit the ice on their off-day Thursday.

Jake Allen will get the start in goal. Jon Merrill, who made his Habs debut Wednesday against the Oilers, remains in the lineup.
