We’ve all taken Lyfts and Ubers which turn into therapy sessions, a buffet car or even a sing-along.
But now you can select exactly what kind of ride you’re in the mood for, after one driver, named Cameron, drew up a hilarious menu of options.
The driver printed out a list of 10 choices ranging from the “small talk” ride to the “drunk ride,” and let’s be honest, we’ve probably experienced all these journeys at least once.
One impressed passenger took a snap, captioned “Welcome to Cameron’s car,” which has since gone viral after it ended up on Reddit.
The Lyft driver wrote: “Welcome to Cameron’s car!!! To ensure the best ride possible for you, I have prepared a menu of the various types of rides I offer. Just choose one (or don’t, that’s an option too) then sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.
- The Awkward Ride—You ignore this menu completely then we sit in silence for the remainder of the ride.
- The Funny Ride—I tell you jokes or embarrassing stories from my life.
- The Silent Ride.
- The Creepy Ride—I don’t say anything but I keep staring at you in the rearview mirror.
- The Karaoke Ride—We rock to hits from the 80s, early 2000’s or literally whatever you want.
- The Bubbles Ride—We blow bubbles the whole time.
- The Small Talk Ride—We talk about how crazy the weather’s been lately and I ask if you caught the game last night.
- The Therapy Ride—You vent to me about your problems and I listen.
- The Drunk Ride—You throw up in my car.
- The Cliche Ride—You ask me how long I’ve been driving for Lyft.
The options have gone down a storm online, with people fiercely debating which ride they’d prefer—with bubbles mixed with creepy emerging as the frontrunners.
Commenting on Reddit, chainer49 wrote: “Start with a bubble ride and then switch to a creepy ride. Maybe end it with a drunk ride. This is like ice cream scoops: it’s better when you mix flavors.”
“I want a mix of the creepy and bubbles ride,” Awsamer agreed.
Lofihiphopbeats509 thought: “Creepy/karaoke is just a car ride but they play “Every Breath You Take” the whole way through.”
Some people pointed out option 9 may not be the most favorable, with TimmyV90 joking: “You don’t choose 9, 9 chooses you.”
While TwilightBeastLink thought: “Maybe if you choose 9 you don’t get to choose any other options.”
BitsyMarble asked: “Why isn’t this in every car? I want a bubble ride.”
While Jeffistopheles queried: “What’s the difference between 1 and 3?”
