We’ve reached the eve of the 2021 NFL Draft and for the second time in the last four years the New York Jets will be selecting their QB of the future. Sam Darnold’s time in NYC did not go as planned, so once again, Gang Green is hitting the reset button. While it’s not yet a lock, New York appears set on drafting BYU’s Zach Wilson on Thursday night. Wilson is drawing comps to a QB who recently went No. 1 overall and the 21-year-old is doing his due diligence to find out what it’s like to play QB in the Big Apple. It’s not an easy place to play, but if he is able to take the Jets to the promised land, he’ll be a legend. And if he can’t…well, at least he’ll have plenty of company.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. No matter who New York takes at No. 2, they won’t have recent history on their side, as the last four QBs taken second overall are all no longer with the teams that selected them. So with that in mind, how many of the No. 2 overall picks in every NFL Draft since 1991 can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
