The UAE Holidays We Can Look Forward To The Rest Of This Year
In under 2 weeks time the Holy Month of Ramadan comes to a close and people across the UAE will celebrate Eid Al Fitr. The exact date is subject to confirmation nearer the time when the moon sighting committee meets on 11 May, however as Ramadan is expected to be 30 days long, the last day of Ramadan would fall on 12 May and Eid Al Fitr to be on 13 May.
As 13 May is a Thursday we can anticipate a 3 day weekend for Eid Al Fitr.
For those who like to plan ahead, here are the scheduled dates to mark in your calendar for holidays in the UAE for the rest of 2021.The dates reflect both the private sector as well as public sector, and some of the public holiday dates are subject to change based on the moon sighting.
