Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is most likely to reschedule the 30th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore after 2 Kolkata Knight Riders members Varun Chakaravarthy and Sandeep Warrior tested positive for COVID-19.
Speaking to ANI, a BCCI official confirmed that players in KKR camp have tested positive for Coronavirus and Royal Challengers Bangalore isn’t too keen to take the field against them in the game scheduled for Monday night.
“Varun and Sandeep tested positive and that made the RCB camp wary of the situation. The game is set to be postponed,” the official said
As per the sources, atleast five players in KKR camp, including Australian star bowler Pat Cummins fell ill ahead of their match against Bangalore.
