Getting Around Yas Island Is About To Get Easier
The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) has announced that an on-demand bus service will launch for Yas Island.
The new bus service will launch on Thursday, 13 May.
The first stage of the bus trials will be free and will be available daily from 6am to 11pm.
Individuals can request the service via the Abu Dhabi Link app that is available on both Google Play Store and App Store.
The bus service will offer a mode of transport between facilities, malls and entertainment areas on Yas Island including Ferrari World, Yas Marina Circuit, Yas Mall, Yas Waterworld as well as residential areas like Al Zeina, Al Muneera and Al Bandar.
The bus service uses requests through the app and works on-demand to help individuals get to the destination of their choice by choosing a pick-up and drop-off location and time.
The app will provide the details of the driver as well as the vehicle number plate and will also add real-time tracking of the specified bus.
