The Milwaukee Bucks are currently third in the Eastern Conference standings and have already punched their ticket to the postseason. But according to a recent report, coach Mike Budenholzer is going to need a deep playoff run if he wants to keep his job. Coach Bud has had some postseason success in Milwaukee, reaching the conference finals in 2019 and the conference semis last season. But the Bucks’ front office knows they can’t squander Giannis Antetokounmpo’s prime years. Budenholzer will get one more bite at the apple, and if he can’t get it done, then GM Jon Horst is likely to bring in a coach who he thinks can.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Budenholzer is just two seasons removed from winning NBA Coach of the Year, the second of his coaching career. So with that in mind, how many NBA Coach of the Year winners since the 1979-80 season can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
