CEGEP teachers represented by the Fédération nationale des enseignantes et des enseignants du Québec (FNEEQ) are poised to launch a two-day strike that begins at noon Tuesday.
Over the past weeks, the 45 member unions of the FNEEQ have voted mandates for five strike days to be used at an opportune moment.
The 15,000 teachers feel that 18 months of fruitless negotiations with the provincial government justify the walkout.
