A cyclist in his 40s was fighting for his life Tuesday afternoon after a collision with a car near a nature preserve in the borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro.
Montreal police said they received a 911 call at 12:15 p.m. Police said a preliminary investigation suggests the driver of the car, a woman in her 30s, struck the cyclist as she travelled on Anse-à-l’Orme Rd. near Senneville Rd. near the Anse-à-l’Orme nature park.
The driver and the cyclist were taken to hospital. The Montreal police accident reconstruction squad was en route to the scene of the collision.
