Who is Abdallah Sima?
Sima joined Slavia Prague’s youth setup in August of 2020, and was quickly promoted to the club’s senior side in October.
Despite his tender years, the 19-year-old has already gone on to establish himself as an integral member of the Czech outfit’s attack.
In 20 league outings this term, the right-winger has managed to net 11, and provide five assists.
Sima, though, has also been showcasing his quality on the European stage. In 11 Europa League appearances to date, the youngster has scored four and assisted one, including a goal vs Leicester, as Slavia knocked the Foxes out at the competition’s quarter-final stage.
Abdallah Sima eyed by West Ham
Amid a solid breakout season in the Czech Republic, Sima appears to be attracting interest from some top clubs.
A report last month claimed that Manchester United are monitoring the attacker, whose current contract runs until 2024.
However, it appears another Premier League outfit are also in the market for Sima.
When speaking to the media recently, Slavia Prague’s manager claimed that there is interest in the striker, with it added that West Ham have Sima very high on their list of possible reinforcements:
“There is interest in Abdallah Sima. There’s a set price at which he could leave.
“We focus on managing the rest of the season with us. We talked about it with the boys from West Ham, where they have him very high on the list of possible reinforcements.”

Such interest would make a fair bit of sense given that, outside of Michail Antonio, West Ham do not really have a lot of options up top.
