Koeman sees himself at Barca
The future of Barcelona’s management is a tricky situation.
Despite winning the Copa del Rey final, have fallen out of the La Liga title race.
This has intensified pressure on Ronald Koeman, appointed under the previous president, but the Dutchman has spoke confidently about the scenario.
Koeman said, “From the first day the president has shown his confidence in me and for me it is not something to be worried about, I signed two years as a coach and I see myself as Barcelona coach next year.”
The problem being that should new president Joan Laporta want to steer the club in his own way, he may want a coach of his choosing.
Barca want to steal Flick
Incredibly, one of the names to replace Koeman should he move on is soon to be ex-Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick.
Supposedly ready to take over the Germany job when Joachim Low steps down after the European Championships, Flick has not signed anything official with the DFB.
All signs from Munich tell me that Hans Flick will be the next German National Coach.
I have been wrong a couple times in my life….., but I don’t think I will be wrong here
Bayern got to find a new coach

Spanish outlet Marca claim that the club will face an intense battle trying to convince the German to come to Catalonia.
That is the big problem that Laporta faces to convince Flick to land at the Camp Nou. It would not be a contractual problem since there is no signed document, according to Rac1. The problem is that the coach already had a commitment to the national team that he reached just a few weeks ago and now he would have to break. And this is the situation at the moment.
Should Flick shun the national side, it is difficult to imagine them being open to him taking the role were it to open up in the future.
This may be difficult therefore to work out.
Although, some reports suggest that dialogue has been very open and Flick has been ‘receptive’ to the idea.

Hansi Flick és la primera opció per la banqueta del Barça
? Laporta ja hi ha parlat i l’ha trobat receptiu
? Té un acord per ser seleccionador alemany però no ha firmat res

It would certainly be one of the biggest U-turns seen by a coach in some time.
