Manchester United star Marcus Rashford this weekend opened the door to a potential move abroad, at some point down the line.
Reds stint
Hitman Rashford has of course spent his entire career to date plying his trade at Old Trafford.
The English international is a product of the Manchester United academy, and first exploded onto the first-team picture during the 2015-16 campaign.
After following up a debut brace on the European stage with a further double in his ensuing appearance versus Arsenal, Rashford was widely tipped to establish himself as the long-term successor to Wayne Rooney.

The years since, however, have proven something of a mixed bag for United’s gifted attacker.
Having failed to establish himself as first-choice through the middle, Rashford has been shifted into a wide position on the left, allowing the 23-year-old to cut inside onto his trusty right foot.
His production in front of goal, though, has never quite reached the heights once foreseen.
Last season saw the Manchester native rack up a best-ever tally of 17 Premier League goals. With just a solitary fixture remaining in the current campaign, though, Rashford has managed just 11 this time around (albeit with improved production in Europe).
‘Never say no’
The Englishman’s somewhat erratic numbers stem largely from a frustrating inconsistency in front of goal.
For every composed, pinpoint finish on Rashford’s part, a skewed effort from a favourable position follows, leading some amongst the United fanbase to question whether the club’s youth product will ever go on to establish himself as a genuine top-tier goalscorer.
In turn, it has even been suggested that the hitman could be moved on at some point in the future, with Jadon Sancho continuing to be tipped for an Old Trafford switch, and Mason Greenwood already looking a more consistent goalscoring threat.
And, as outlined above, if the latest comments on the part of Rashford himself are anything to go by, then such a move coming to fruition cannot be ruled out.
Speaking in an in-depth interview with the Guardian this weekend, United’s explosive wide-man was drawn on the possibility of testing his talents abroad, to which he responded:
‘I would never say no.’
When pressed on whether he has an ideal club in mind, Rashford went on to namedrop Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid and Barcelona:
‘Other than United? I’m a big fan of Real Madrid and Barcelona, because they’ve always had great players and played attractive football.’
‘Everybody watches Real Madrid and Barcelona.’
