A man was stabbed outside the Sunset Beach concession stand on the Stanley Park seawall on Wednesday afternoon and taken to hospital.
The incident occurred at around 4:30 p.m., near a bench in front of the washrooms. Police were also seen entering the washrooms after the attack. The concession stand is behind tape.

Vancouver Police Department spokesperson Const. Tania Visintin said police were called to reports of two men fighting.
“When officers arrived on scene, they found one man had been stabbed,” Visintin said. “He was taken to hospital by paramedics. Currently, the injuries aren’t believed to be life threatening.”
A suspect was arrested a short distance away and taken into custody.
Visintin said police did not know the motive for the attack.
