Kim Kardashian has revealed she failed her first-year law exam after taking it whilst suffering with COVID-19.
The reality TV star opened up in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians when she told her sisters that she couldn’t pass the baby bar.
On the show, Kardashian is seen speaking to attorney Jessica Jackson, who revealed she needed a score of 560 to pass but only managed 474.
Kardashian then explained that she studied for six weeks straight for 10-12 hours a day, admitting she felt like a failure.
Jackson reassured her that her result was “extremely close,” especially given that most people are not taking the exam in the middle of a pandemic.
After the episode aired on Thursday, the 40-year-old model took to social media to respond to fan comments.
She then revealed she really struggled to concentrate and experienced the “worst back pain of my life.”
A fan then praised her for not making excuses and continuing to work towards her goal of becoming a lawyer.
Kardashian responded: “No excuses!!! I took the bar with COVID!!! I almost passed out after hour 4, but I still did it!”
Fans of the star were quick to hail her an inspiration for persevering despite battling coronavirus.
Jackson also threw her support behind Kardashian on social media, sharing that both she and Erin Haney, her other legal mentor, were proud of the TV star’s hard work.
“@EdyHaney and I are so proud of all the hard work you put in studying for this exam, @KimKardashian,” Jackson wrote. “Only 16% of the people in law study passed the First Year Students Exam in June, many of whom had likely taken it before.”
She added that Kardashian has already made a positive impact and will be unstoppable once she is licensed.
Kardashian then used the opportunity to highlight she has no plans to give up.
The Skims creator also clapped back at a story that claimed she and her family contracted coronavirus on her 40th birthday trip, which took place on a private island in October 2020.
“False. Nobody caught Covid from the trip,” she wrote. “Saint was the first to have it in our family and he caught it from school from another student who tested positive first. I then developed symptoms and got it a few days after he coughed on me while caring for him.”
Kardashian did address the diagnosis on the latest episode of the show. Viewers saw her on the phone to the doctor as she explained her son Saint tested positive after he came into contact with another child who had coronavirus.
