CBSE Class 12 Exam Cancelled: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday cancelled Class 12 Board Exams 2021 on the backdrop of second wave of Coronavirus. The decision was taken during a high-end meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself.
The decision was taken after the PM was briefed on all possible options that have emerged following an extensive discussions with all states and other stakeholders.
“Government of India has decided to cancel the Class XII CBSE Board Exams. After extensive consultations, we have taken a decision that is student-friendly, one that safeguards the health as well as future of our youth,” PM Modi tweeted soon after his meeting.

Class XII results will be made as per a well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner.
