Made In Abu Dhabi Licensing
The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development has introduced a ‘Made in Abu Dhabi’ sign that will be added to all industrial licenses issued to factories and manufacturing companies located in Abu Dhabi.
The initiative will help increase the visibility and brand trustworthiness of all items and organisations bearing the mark.
A manual with instructions has been issued to ensure the sign is used in an appropriate, clear and noticeable way on the respective product.
The sign will additionally create a higher value for the products bearing the sign.
Over 3,340 local products from about 888 factories in Abu Dhabi will carry the sign.
Owners of industrial facilities can print out the industrial license of the sign from their registered account on the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development website.
The initiative will also allow manufacturers to use the trademark on their websites, social media platforms and other marketing platforms.
