Huawei’s ‘Super Device’ lineup is aimed to tackle fragmentation in user experience. At today’s event, Huawei launched a range of smart watches and tablets powered by HarmonyOS 2. In addition, the launch included Huawei Freebuds 4 and two high-end monitors.
Huawei Watch 3|3 Pro
The Huawei Watch 3|3 Pro feature a curved glass screen and 316L stainless steel casing with a brand-new 3D rotating crown sensitive to different pressures. Thanks to 4G connectivity, the watches also allow you to receive phone calls and listen to music. With these running HarmonyOS, they also integrate seamlessly with Huawei smartphones. Specific for residents of the UAE, users will be able to follow updates relating to their food orders or rides via Talabat, Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) or Jeeny straight from the their wrists. You will also find deeper integration with a dedicated application to view booking details and flight status on your Emirates flights.
At the core, the Huawei Watch 3|3 Pro also serve as professional fitness and health managers. They bring support for 100 workout modes in addition to a broad range of healthcare support options. The watches can monitor skin temperature with a new high-precision temperature sensor, detect falls and trigger SOS functions. Staying true to Huawei’s promise of strong battery, the Watch 3 can last up to 14 days while the Watch 3 Pro can last up to 21 days in ultra-long battery life modes.
Huawei MatePad Pro (12.6-inch)
The new Huawei MatePad Pro sports a 12.6-inch OLED FullView Display with a 90 per-cent screen to body ratio and a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Equipped with the Kirin 9000 series chipsets, it delivers solid performance. With support for distributed data management and task scheduling from HarmonyOS, the tablet can work with smartphones and PCs to boost productivity and creativity in different scenarios.
You also fine support for Multi-screen collaboration here with PC devices. It can serve as a canvas or a monitor with various modes and supports cross-device file dragging and dropping. The new Huawei M-Pencil also features a platinum-coated nib for high-precision handwriting and ultra-low latency, differentiating between 4,096 levels of force.
Huawei FreeBuds 4
Huawei’s new FreeBuds 4 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Bluetooth earbuds inherit the open-fit active noise cancellation (ANC) technology from the previous generation.
With open-fit ANC 2.0, lightweight comfort, high-resolution sound quality and intelligent audio connectivity, the earbuds improve the ANC listening experience.
Huawei MateView and MateView GT
The Huawei MateView is the first flagship standalone monitor from the company. It sports a wide range of smart features including a large 4K UHD monitor, wireless connectivity and a dual-speaker and dual-microphone sound system. Enabling connections between all you devices, it aims to make you easily switch between work mode and play mode.
On the other hand, the Huawei MateView GT is made for gaming enthusiasts. It features a 34-inch 3K curved panel with a 165Hz refresh rate. With this design, it is a powerful and efficient monitor that can take gaming and entertainment to a new level.
