Halle Berry is doing her victory dance.
On Tuesday, the 55-year-old shared a video of herself dancing to H.E.R.’s new single, “Automatic Woman,” from the soundtrack of Berry’s newest movie — and directorial debut — Bruised, whereas rocking a black jumpsuit. Holding up a drink as she confirmed off her strikes, the A-lister had lots to have fun.
“When you find out the night before that your film is #1 in the U.S. and #2 globally and you start dranking to celebrate … this is bound to happen. #tipsy #bruisedsoundtrack,” she captioned the publish.
Celebrity mates and followers flooded the feedback to congratulate the veteran actress.

This has been a milestone 12 months for the Oscar winner. Fresh off the success of her new film, Berry simply signed a multi-film take care of Netflix. A month in the past, Berry out of the blue started receiving what some felt was overdue reward for her formally notorious Catwoman position. As many social media customers had been (re)discovering the 2004 movie, which on the time was panned by critics and bombed the field workplace, Berry herself was shocked and grateful for the newfound love.
“I’m seeing all the Catwoman love everybody. Where were you guys 17 years ago?” she requested humorously in a tweet.
Berry even made a cameo in a now-viral video with Saweetie, who dressed up as Berry’s model of the DC Comics character the place the actress seeming handed the torch to the younger rapper.
During a current interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Berry admitted that it was robust being blamed for the movie’s shortcomings.
“I worked really hard to be a Catwoman,” she said. “I learned capoeira. I did the work,” Berry stated. “The disheartening half was I did not direct it, I did not produce it, nor did I write it. I used to be simply the actress in it. But for all these years I’ve carried I feel, you already know, the burden of that movie. And no matter success it had or did not have, someway it appeared prefer it was all my fault. But it actually wasn’t my fault. But I’ve been carrying it.”
She even urged she’d reprise the position with one caveat — she needed to direct the movie.
