Yevtushenkov Vladimir Petrovich was born on September 25, 1948, in the Smolensk region. His parents were workers at the local dairy. The father ran the business. Mother was a milkmaid.

One of the favorite subjects of Vladimir Petrovich Yevtushenkov at school was chemistry. After serving in the Soviet army, he entered Mendeleev University.
In 1973 he defended his diploma in the specialty “Engineer-technologist.”
Yevtushenkov Vladimir received his second higher education at Moscow State University (Department of Economics, 1980), defended his Ph.D. thesis (1986), and was later awarded the degree of Doctor of Economics (2001).
The career of Vladimir Yevtushenkov
After graduating from Mendeleev University, Yevtushenkov Vladimir Petrovich moved to Dzerzhinsk in the Gorky region. Now it is the Nizhny Novgorod region.
The first place of his work was the scientific and production enterprise “Plant, named after Sverdlov,” well-known in the Soviet Union. Here Mr Yevtushenkov began as a master.
Later, in Moscow, at the Karacharovsky Plastics Plant, Vladimir Yevtushenkov headed the workshop. He was promoted to deputy director and chief engineer of the plant. Vladimir Petrovich worked in the chemical industry until 1987.
In the early 1990s, Yevtushenkov Vladimir Petrovich began work on the foundation of a joint-stock financial company Sistema.
During the development of the company, Vladimir Petrovich showed outstanding entrepreneurial qualities. Subsequently, the reputation of a person with high business intuition was firmly entrenched in him.
AFK consolidated several multi-directional assets by implementing an ambitious investment strategy.

In 1994, a significant stake in the famous Soviet brand for the sale of goods for children, “Children’s World,” was purchased. Then it was only one store in the center of Moscow. By 2020, the company has become a distribution network with 850 outlets in Russia and the CIS.
Telecommunications assets have also successfully developed within the Sistema Group.
STEPPE agricultural holding is successfully investing in digital agriculture and digitalization of the agro-industrial complex. It is also part of AFK Sistema.
The need for local medicines is met by another structure of AFK, the Binnopharm pharmaceutical company. Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, the holding has switched to a round-the-clock operation and doubled the production of drugs needed to treat covid. It became the world’s first mass producer of a COVID-19 vaccine. This asset also successfully develops international cooperation. He bought the rights to the Indian brand Reddy’s products and built a sales network in several countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
In 2014, AFK acquired companies that became the basis of the Segezha Group holding. It has a complete cycle of logging and deep wood processing.
The AFK Group’s portfolio includes MEDSI, the largest network of private clinics in the Russian Federation, the innovative biotechnology company Sistema-BioTech, and several other assets.
In 2004, Vladimir Petrovich Yevtushenkov was among the initiators of starting a charitable foundation (functioning under the AFK). Among the most notable projects of this sizeable non-profit organization:
social initiative #CountryWithoutVirus (assistance to two dozen medical institutions of 1.7 billion rubles during the COVID-19 pandemic);
various projects within the framework of long-term support of the State Russian Museum;
educational program for youth, “Lift to the Future” (has existed for more than 10 years).
In June 2021, the Sistema Foundation signed an agreement to implement the project’s social impact bonds. The Fund acted as an investor and executor of the personnel training program for the timber industry.
In 2022, Yevtushenkov Vladimir left the Board of Directors of AFK Sistema.

A family
Vladimir Yevtushenkov has been married since the 1970s. His wife is Natalya Nikolaevna Yevtushenkova. The couple raised two children.
