Dollard-des-Ormeaux homeowners will see a small hike of less than one per cent in municipal taxes in 2021.
For the average home evaluated at $514,500, it means a tax bill of $4,654, an increase of $42.49 over 2020.
It represents an increase of .92 per cent in overall taxes. Town officials noted that this increase is the impact of Dollard’s share paid to the Montreal Agglomeration for regional services.
The breakdown for the 2021 tax bill is $4,378 in property tax, a $220 water tax and $56.30 for local improvement tax.
In 2020, the average Dollard property owner paid $4,611 in taxes.
Dollard council adopted its $92.5 million budget for 2021 on Dec. 15.
