A mother-of-two fell to her death from a fourth-storey flat on Christmas Day morning.
Sharon Anne Daly-O’Dwyer, 51, went outside to smoke a cigarette on the balcony of her apartment in Shepherd’s Bush, west London, shortly after she opened presents with her children.
Her family heard a sudden noise and thought she had fallen down the stairs before they rushed outside to see her on the ground below.
Her daughter Taylor told the Daily Mirror: “I ran down to try and help her but it was pretty obvious she had died, she wasn’t breathing and her eyes were open.
“I held her hand when they stopped the CPR and closed her eyes when they said they couldn’t do anymore. I gave her a kiss and said I love you.”
It is not currently clear how the fall happened. Paramedics attempted to resuscitate the 51-year-old at the scene.
Taylor’s best friend Georgie Dileo, 23, said Ms Anne Daly-O’Dwyer was a very hard worker and ‘the life and soul of pubs’ in Shepherd’s Bush.
Ms Anne Daly-O’Dwyer was a bartender but lost her job due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in March and was looking for work.
The family has launched a GoFundMe to help pay for funeral costs. Taylor said: “We don’t have any savings to give her a proper funeral.
“I won’t be able to forgive myself if she doesn’t get the send off she deserves.”

On the fundraising page, Ms Dileo wrote: “Sharon was such a beautiful, fun, loving and amazing woman, everyone who knew her, loved her and always had such a good time with her!
“We can’t even put into words what the world will be like without her and her beautiful children and grandson will continue her memory and make her even more proud than they have already.”
