Ivanka Trump set social media and political prognistiactors into a frenzy earlier this week when she posted a message professing her love for Iowa, prompting speculation that she may harbor 2024 presidential aspirations.
The president’s daughter and a senior White House adviser retweeted a message from Republican Governor Kim Reynolds, who was celebrating the anniversary of Iowa gaining statehood.
Trump shared the post and captioned it with her love for Iowa, complete with a heart emoji and an exclamation point for emphasis.
Iowa is considered a must-stop for serious presidential contenders as the Hawkeye State caucuses are seen by some as a strong indicator of how a candidate will do in later contests.
It can also break a contender as others are eliminated if they fair poorly in Iowa.
♥️ Iowa! https://t.co/v5ryVM8WiH

They noted that she had campaigned for her father and GOP Sen. Joni Ernst’s reelection bid in Iowa on the eve of the election, suggesting she had an effect when her father won by 8 points and Ernst won rather easily.
Not everybody was champing at the bit to see another Trump potentially running for President in 2024.
Blue-check Twitter handled themselves as you would expect – disgracefully.
Some suggested she be deported to Iowa, which makes absolutely no sense to anybody possessing more than three brain cells in their head.
Yes Iowa, Hope you get deported to Iowa.

Others chose to conduct themselves with grace and class.
Just kidding. Here’s Huffington Post contributor Tony Posnanski voicing an opinion using his very limited vocabulary …

Should She Run?
The liberal meltdown is a good reminder of how Ivanka Trump has a knack – just like her father – for driving liberals insane.
Anybody remember the time she posted an image of herself holding a can of Goya black beans?
Model Chrissy Teigen, the wife of musician John Legend, had a meltdown and accused Ivanka of breaking the law.
had it with anyone who EVER defends this woman or puts her as the “sane” one in this family. what a repulsive trolling of the people. also (in the SEA of illegal shit this family does) is this even ethically ok or legal?? https://t.co/M8GJajHlGS

Peter Baker of the New York Times tweeted, “Federal ethics law: ‘An employee shall not use or permit the use of his Government position or title or any authority associated with his public office to endorse any product, service or enterprise…’”
They wanted her in jail over a mundane photo.
Ivanka Trump today might be inclined to side with opening up the economy rather than doling out stimulus checks.
“I don’t think most Americans, in their heart, want to be given something,” Ivanka told Fox News last year in discussing socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Green New Deal.
“I’ve spent a lot of time traveling around this country over the last 4 years. People want to work for what they get.”

During a campaign stop in New Hampshire this past August, President Trump acknowledged the crowd would rather see Ivanka as the first female President as opposed to Kamala Harris.
“They’re all saying, ‘We want Ivanka!’” as he pointed to the crowd. “I don’t blame them.”
