Ontario Provincial Police arrested one person on Pelee Island Friday after responding to a call about vehicles on fire and threats to a resident.
The call came in at approximately 5:50 p.m. Thursday. OPP Aviation Services were deployed to transport members to the island where they took one person into custody without incident.
Members of the Forensic Identification Services (FIS) and Major Crime Unit conducted additional investigation.
The investigation is ongoing at this time and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
