Bright Lights in Windsor is always an amazing sight to see around Christmas.
It helps bring the Christmas spirit out for everyone.
This is a big attraction for Windsor and is very popular to see. But unfortunately with the coronavirus in place, it has been canceled this year. The downside for people in the area is because the display often cheers people up who are having a rough time. Parents and kids can have a fun night together with some hot chocolate and coffee.
With Bright Lights being shut down this year, the city is expecting to save nearly $590,000. This money comes from putting up the decorations, electricity and the labour involved.
All of this money should instead go to help homeless people and help families in need.
