Students across the province from kindergarten to Grade 12 returned to in-person learning Monday morning. Minister of Education Adriana LaGrange said on Twitter the safety and well-being of staff and students is the government’s “number one priority.”
“Alberta’s robust re-entry plan allows students to return safely with numerous health measures in place and was developed in consultation with Dr. Hinshaw, as well as education partners,” said LaGrange.
She added the situation at schools provincewide will be monitored closely so that adjustments can be made where they are needed.
