New Delhi, Jan 14: Union Budget 2021 is scheduled to be presented on February 1, at 11 am by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman during the Parliament session. For the first time, Budget will go paperless as the Finance Ministry has decided not to print the budget documents amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The fifth Session of Seventeenth Lok Sabha will commence on Friday, the 29th January, 2021. Subject to exigencies of Government Business, the Session is likely to conclude on Thursday, the 8th April, 2021.
The President will address both Houses of Parliament assembled together at 11.00 A.M. on Friday, the 29th January, 2021.
The Union Budget will be presented at 11:00 am on Monday, the 1st February, 2021.
In order to enable the Standing Committees to consider the Demands for Grants of Ministries/Departments and prepare their Reports, the House will adjourn on 15th February, 2021 to meet again on 8th March, 2021.
