(CBS Detroit) – Nine officers have been hit with new costs this morning tied to the flint water disaster, together with former Michigan governor Rick Snyder.
Snyder was arraigned this morning and faces two counts of willful neglect of obligation. Each of these is a misdemeanor punishable by one 12 months and or a one-thousand greenback fantastic.
He has pleaded not responsible to each costs.
Snyder’s former well being director Nicholas Lyon faces 9 felony counts of involuntary manslaughter; seven different officers face costs together with perjury, misconduct in workplace, willful neglect of obligation, and obstruction of justice.
The costs observe a 12-month investigation.
Snyder is due again for a pre-trial look on January nineteenth.
