UPCC president, Congress employees detained throughout protest in opposition to farm legal guidelines in Uttar Pradesh

LUCKNOW: Congress employees, together with UPCC president Ajay Kumar Lallu, had been on Friday taken into custody whereas attempting to march in direction of the Raj Bhawan right here as a part of the celebration’s ‘Kisan Adhikar Diwas’ programme in opposition to the brand new farm legal guidelines.

Led by Lallu, celebration employees had began their march for the Raj Bhawan ‘gherao’ programme after they had been taken into custody in Dalibagh space, a Congress spokesman stated.

Party employees raised ‘jai jawan jai kisan slogans’ when the police tried to disrupt their march, the spokesman stated.

The celebration is observing Raj Bhawan ‘gherao’ programme everywhere in the nation in opposition to the brand new farm legal guidelines on Friday, the spokesman added.
