Screening Protocols For Vaccinated People
Abu Dhabi has approved new screening protocols for people that have been vaccinated through the national vaccination programme as well as for those that are currently participating in COVID-19 vaccine trials.
People that have been vaccinated either through the national vaccination programme or through the clinical trials will receive identifying symbols on the Al Hosn App.
Those that have been vaccinated via the national vaccination programme will have an ‘E’ appear on the app, 28 days after taking the second dose of the vaccine and once they have also had a PCR test. The symbol remains valid for 7 days.
Individuals that are a part of the vaccine trials will receive a ‘gold star’ on the app after all the doses for the trial have been administered and once the have also had a PCR test. The symbol remains valid for 7 days.
Individuals that are part of the vaccine trials will have to get tested as required by the trials.
Vaccinated individuals that come in contact with a positive case, need to quarantine for 5 days and will have to take a PCR test on day 4. If the test comes back negative, the individual does not need to quarantine any longer.
Vaccinated people that arrive from green countries do not need to quarantine but have to get a PCR test on arrival as well as on day 6, and those that arrive from countries that are not on the green list need to quarantine for 10 days and have to get a PCR test done on arrival and also on the eighth day.
