Planned Parenthood CEO Alexis McGill Johnson, in a recent interview with “Business Insider,” proclaimed her “excitement” that pro-choice hardliner Kamala Harris is the Vice President.
Johnson said, “She has really demonstrated her facility of understanding our issues but also the intersection of sexual and reproductive health care with issues of race, with issues of the economy, with issues of democracy and our American values.”
Johnson went on to say, “I’m completely over the moon and so excited to support her leadership and support their vision for how we transform healthcare, as well as sexual reproductive healthcare.”
Harris has been a strong advocate for abortion throughout her career.
We’ve made it! We all DEFINITELY deserve to celebrate — and look forward to the future. We have a lot of work to do, but alongside the Biden-Harris administration, we can get started right away protecting and expanding sexual and reproductive health care. pic.twitter.com/klFw2fh77x

What A Difference An Election Makes
Many pro-life groups touted Donald Trump and his administration as “the most pro-life president in history.”
With the election, the Biden/Harris administration could be the exact opposite.

Planned Parenthood Action Fund, the elections PAC for the abortion provider, has a nifty article titled “9 Reasons to Love Kamala Harris.”
So what exactly is on Alexis McGill Johnson and Planned Parenthood’s wish list?
Johnson says she would like to see the reversal of the Trump Title X rule that blocks funding to Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers that refer women and girls for abortions.

In 2019, Planned Parenthood left the Title X program altogether after the Trump rule went into effect.
Not only would Johnson want this reversed, but she plans to ask Congress to increase funding for Title X to ensure “it’s inclusive of everyone, of all races and genders.”
Genders? As in multiple? Can have abortions?
As long as we are talking about Alexis McGill Johnson’s list of abortion government freebies, we should ask another question.
Also according to the “Business Insider” interview, Johnson said that Planned Parenthood had “assisted the Biden administration with its planned White House Gender Policy Council as well as its executive orders on racial equity.
At the risk of going down a rabbit hole, what in the name of government red tape is a “gender policy council?”

Erasing The Trump Era
Joe Biden has already taken aim at anything remotely related to the Trump administration. During his first days in office, and in a storm of executive orders, Biden rescinded what is known as the “Mexico City Policy.”
The policy, which dates back to Ronald Reagan, prevents U.S. federal funding for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that provide abortion counseling or referrals, advocate to decriminalize abortion, or expand abortion services.
In essence, the Mexico City Policy prevents taxpayers from paying for abortions in foreign countries.
Joe Biden’s America:
⛔️Undocumented immigrants > U.S. Citizens
⛔️Foreign energy > U.S. energy independence
⛔️Taxpayer-funded abortions > Protecting life
⛔️Executive Orders > Executive leadershipIt is clear that under the Biden Administration, America comes last.

This policy is added and subtracted according to whether or not a Democrat or a Republican is in the White House.
It is a pretty sure bet that repeal of the Hyde Amendment is no doubt the next target on the Democrat chopping block.
The Hyde Amendment, named after its sponsor, Rep. Henry Hyde of Illinois, was passed in 1976, and basically bars the use of federal funds to pay for abortion except in cases of rape, incest, or saving the life of the mother.

What Will The Biden/Harris Administration Do To The Pro-Life Movement?
If you are pro-life, the next four years at least, should be scaring the daylights out of you.
Recall that Harris has, throughout her career been a true champion of Planned Parenthood.
As California’s Attorney General, she oversaw the raid of the office of David Daleiden, the head of the Center For Medical Progress.
The raid occurred in the aftermath of the group releasing undercover videos of Planned Parenthood discussing sales practices of fetal tissue, which gained national attention.
With Joe Biden at the helm, this administration will reverse most of the progress made by Donald Trump.
In a tweet from Politico, President Joe Biden said of the previous administration’s abortion policies that he, “will reverse my predecessor’s attack on women’s health access” and “undo the damage that Trump has done.”
Joe Biden has signed a series of executive orders aimed at rolling back some of the Trump administration’s most far-reaching abortion restrictions.

Alexis McGill Johnson said that she believes the Biden/Harris administration will follow through with its election pledges to defend abortion, but the fact that Donald Trump appointed over 200 federal judges, and many of them support the pro-life view, she may not be realizing her giddy “over the moon” attitude any time soon.
She said that, “Its going to take years to repair that damage-generations really-and achieve real transformational change.”
In an ironic twist of fate, as we celebrate the first woman of color to serve as Vice-President of the United States, we should point out to Vice-President Harris that in 2015, 79% of Planned Parenthood surgical abortion facilities were in minority neighborhoods?
Is that the kind of “reproductive justice” we can expect in the new era of the Biden/Harris administration?
