Rita Ora has spoken about being criticised for what she wears, explaining that she couldn’t care less what people think of her outfits.
“I really think style is a totally personal thing — if someone doesn’t like something I wear, they don’t have to, that’s totally fine,” the 30-year-old said.
“What’s important is I just need to feel confident about me and how I feel — that’s all that matters to me with my style.”
Ora went on to praise the relationship she has with her co-hosts on The Masked Singer: Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan.
“They are all hilarious, and I think the dynamic is so brilliant you have a bit of everything between us. We have the best chemistry, we genuinely have such a laugh, and I think it’s exactly the sort of show people are looking for at the moment,” she said.
“People can’t wait to see every week — it’s such a laugh, so funny and warm-hearted, how could you not love it?”
Ora’s comments come after McCall, was criticised for wearing a white gown with a thigh-high slit on one episode of the singing competition programme.
While thousands of people replied to McCall’s tweet of the outfit with praiseworthy comments, one person shared it alongside the caption: “Old over sun-kissed woman should cover up … stunning dress but not for the wrinkly crinkly… demure for the mature.”
McCall herself replied: “Really sorry. Absolutely no chance of demure over here sue… growing old disgracefully is far more fun.”
