It seems like just the other day that phone manufacturers started removing headphone jacks from their devices, starting with the likes of Motorola and Apple and followed by Samsung and others.
Sure, we’ve seen Sony bring the 3.5mm port back in 2020, but a ton of flagship phones still lack the feature. This means people wanting a wired audio experience need to either use a 3.5mm dongle for old accessories or USB-C headphones.
That got us thinking whether any Android Authority readers still use wired headphones with their phone, be it 3.5mm accessories or USB-C earphones. Let us know by taking the poll below and leaving a comment too.
Personally, I’ve only recently switched to almost exclusively using wireless earphones on my phone. My main concern with going wireless was battery life and charging time, but I recently bought the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z and it definitely ticks these boxes. I still value a 3.5mm port on my phone for traveling though (not that I’m going anywhere now), as the last thing I want to worry about is charging yet another gadget.
