Zendaya Asked About The Qualities She Looks For In A ‘Man’ And Has The Best Response – Video!

The actress is featured on the cover of Vanity Fair for their yearly Hollywood Issue, alongside other big names in the industry such as Charlize Theron and Michael B. Jordan! That being said, she gave a video interview for their The Proust Questionnaire series as well and her response to one particular question got her a lot of attention!

Zendaya had no problem shooting down a gendered question about the quality she seeks most in ‘men!’

Instead, she clarified that rather than men, she looks for kindness in ‘people!’

The series included no less than 35 questions about her personality and life in general and Zendaya promptly responded to them all!

At some point, however, the question that caused her to make headlines appeared on the screen: ‘What is the quality you most like in a man?’

‘I most like in a person, how about that?’ the Euphoria actress rephrased it, making it clear that there is no need for gender there.

She did not just stop there, however, going on to actually give the question real thought.

‘It’s such a big question. What is the quality that I most like in somebody? I would say, ‘kindness’ is sort of not the best way to describe it, but some people are good people, and you can feel it. And I do not know how to explain that, but there is this little spark that they have, or this little special thing they have, that you just feel safe and happy around them. I do not know what that is, but some people really have it, and it is special.’

The question that followed was even more interesting considering her choice not to gender the one that came before it.

‘What is the quality that you most like in a woman?’

Obviously, since she’d included all genders previously, she had nothing much to add, just responding with: ‘Well, I guess that’s the same answer.’
