Tiger Woods was transferred from Harbor-UCLA Medical Center on Wednesday to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for “continuing orthopedic care” on his injured legs after a car crash the day before.
According to a statement on his Twitter account, the golf star is “in good spirits” after undergoing follow-up procedures for his leg injuries.
Woods underwent emergency surgery at Harbor-UCLA after his rollover car crash on Tuesday. It’s unclear how long the 45-year-old will remain in the hospital. It’s also unclear how long it will take him to recover from his injuries, which are considered serious.
Many of the world’s best athletes have offered up prayers for Woods, including Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy, LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Alex Rodriguez, Julian Edelman, Magic Johnson and Mike Tyson.
