Authorities in Ajman have closed down a shopping centre and fined its owner Dh5,000 after massive crowds thronged the venue for a discount scheme.
The flash sale resulted in unmanageable crowds of shoppers, and Covid safety rules were flouted.

The Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team in Ajman and the police have urged shop managements to implement all Covid safety measures.
