Rapid COVID-19 Testing At Abu Dhabi Airport
Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) has launched a rapid COVID-19 PCR test for passengers arriving into Abu Dhabi at the airport, with the results given within 90 minutes.
The test excludes passengers in transit and is free for on arrival passengers with a lab capacity of 20,000 people each day.
Testing and is done in partnership with Pure Health and Tamouh Healthcare, and will be carried out at Terminals 1 and 3 with the results sent to the passengers through SMS, WhatsApp and the Al Hosn App. Once they have done the PCR test, passengers can leave the airport.
Passengers who receive a negative PCR test and are arriving from the green list countries, do not have to self-isolate, and passengers from countries that are not on the green list have to self-isolate for ten days and will get a quarantine wristband attached at the PCR tent at the airport.

The introduction of the RT-PCR Covid-19 testing is a milestone achievement in our ongoing efforts to facilitate the safe resumption of international air travel and support the recovery of the aviation industry.”
