Three police officers were left injured on Friday night after being attacked while trying to break up an alleged gathering of young people.
The officers had been alerted to a group congregating outside Stirling railway station and were asking them to move on when the situation turned violent.
British Transport Police (BTP) said the officers approached the group and asked them to leave just before 10.30pm. Several members of the group then attacked them.
The officers were later treated for minor injuries and five people were arrested in connection with the incident.
The force is now appealing for information.
The force said: “Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
“Any witnesses or anyone with information can contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 581 of 12/03/21.
“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
