A Windsor man died Friday from injuries suffered in a collision on Highway 40 in Lambton County on Thursday.
Lambton OPP, Lambton County Emergency Medical Services and Sarnia Fire responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 40, south of Confederation Line, just before 6 a.m. on Thursday.
Both drivers were sent to hospital. One was suffering from minor injuries and the other with life-threatening injuries. That driver, who was identified as 31-year-old Garcia Ventura of Windsor, died on Friday as a result of his injuries.
The West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team and the Lambton County OPP are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lambton County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
