Boris Johnson is set lead an Easter Monday press conference where he is expected to announce the next steps out of Covid lockdown.
The Prime Minister will also reportedly reveal more about the new proposed vaccine passport scheme and outline his new traffic lights plan for foreign travel.
It comes as restrictions started to ease on March 29, with outdoor gatherings of six people now allowed.
Mr Johnson will meet with ministers today to sign off on the latest easing of restrictions under the government’s road map.
He is expected to announce this afternoon that pubs and restaurants will be able to start serving customers outdoors from next week while hairdressers, nail salons, gyms and other non-essential retail will be able to reopen.

Mr Johnson is expected to start the press conference at 5pm from Downing Street

What will Boris Johnson announce?
Mr Johnson is set to unveil if the country can move onto the next stage of lockdown after restrictions started to loosen on March 29, allowing outdoor gatherings of six people.
This will mean that pubs can pubs and restaurants will be able to start serving customers outdoors from April 12.
And the nation’s unruly hair can be tamed with hairdressers open, as well as nail salons, gyms and other non-essential retail throwing open their doors.
Mr Johnson is expected to say more about plans announced at the weekend for Covid certificates for mass gatherings from sporting events to nightclubs.
However any move towards a domestic ‘vaccine passport’ scheme is expected to encounter fierce push-back from backbench Tory MPs and Labour, who have already said they would not back the scheme.
The Prime Minister will also reportedly discuss reports today that everyone in England is to be offered free, twice-weekly coronavirus tests.
The lateral flow tests – which can provide results in around 30 minutes – will be available from Friday, regardless of whether people have symptoms.
What plans for international travel is the PM expected to reveal?
Under the current restrictions non-essential trips abroad are banned but Mr Johnson is expected to unveil a new traffic light system that will open up foreign excursions.
The system will rate overseas destinations on variables such as the rate of vaccination and the level of infections, before assigning them one of three risk ratings.
Mr Johnson is expected to give the go-ahead for foreign travel to resume on May 17 under his new traffic lights system.
It is not yet clear what countries will be in which category, but reports have suggested Europe could be placed under ‘red’ due to slow vaccination rates and a spike in infections on the continent.
But countries in the Caribbean, along with Dubai and Bahrain, could be placed in ‘green.’
