Longueuil police investigate house fire as possible arson case

Longueuil police are investigating a fire that broke out early Monday in a parked trailer and then spread to a neighbouring house as a possible case of arson.

The incident occurred at about 1:25 a.m. The flames from the trailer, parked in the back yard of the residence, spread to the home and both were severely damaged.

Two other residences were evacuated as a precaution by first responders and local firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control.

Police are urging anyone with any information on the incident to call 911.
