Ontario reported 3,469 new cases of COVID-19 and 22 additional virus-related deaths on Tuesday.
It is the first time in seven days that cases dropped to below 4,000.
So far, 7,757 people have died in the province as a result of the virus since the pandemic began early last year.
The province reported a positivity rate of 10 per cent — a drop from the record high 10.5 per cent the day before — and completed nearly 40,600 tests over the past 24 hours.
