After a couple of players from KKR tested Covid positive, reports have now emerged suggesting three members of the Chennai Super Kings – chief executive officer Kasi Viswanathan, a bus cleaner and bowling coach L Balaji – have tested Covid-19 positive. As per a report on Cricinfo, rest of the CSK squad, which is currently in Delhi, has tested negative. On Monday, the three members underwent a Covid-19 test just to discover that it was’t a false test.

The trio will be asked to spend 10 days in an isolation facility if they test Covid-19 positive again. To re-enter the bio-bubble again, they need to return with two negative tests.
This follows the news that IPL 2021’s May 3 match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore will be rescheduled after two Kolkata Knight Riders players Varun Chakaravarthy and Sandeep Warrior tested positive for COVID-19.
