CGBSE 10th Result 2021: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) on Wednesday, May 19, declared the results of CGBSE class 10 or matriculation examination 2021 on its official website. The CGBSE class 10 result was announced by the Minister of school education, Chhattisgarh government via video conferencing at 11 am.

This year, the CGBSE class 10 result was announced for 4.67 lakh students, out of which, 2.24 lakh candidates are boys and 2.31 lakh are girls. A total of 100% of students have passed the Chhattisgarh Board class 10 examination, out of which, 446393 students secured first division, 9024 students got second division, and 5676 students got third division.

The board had announced the CGBSE class 10 results on the basis of the student’s performance in the internal assessment. This year, the board had canceled the CGBSE class 10 board examination in view of the covid-19 pandemic. However, as per the marking policy, the regular CGBSE class 10 students who were not able to attend the practical exams due to the covid-19 pandemic were allotted minimum passing marks.

In 2020, Pragya Kashyap from Govt Higher Secondary School, Jarhagaon had scored a perfect 100% in the Chhattisgarh class 10th board exam. A total of 73.62% of students had passed the CGBSE class 10th examination. Last year, girls had outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 76.28%, while the pass percentage of boys was 70.53%.
