Windsor police are sharing a composite drawing of an unidentified woman whose body was found near the riverfront on May 3. Investigators don’t believe the death was suspicious.

Windsor police are continuing to seek the public’s help in identifying a deceased woman with the release of a composite drawing of her face.
The image was created for Windsor Police Service by the OPP’s forensic identification support services.
Windsor police investigators say they do not believe the woman’s death was suspicious in nature.
Her remains were discovered by passersby near Windsor’s riverfront at Riverside Drive West and Crawford Avenue on the morning of May 3.
Windsor police were contacted around 6:30 a.m. about the body.
The woman was wearing distinctive green clothing and a black-haired wig.
Police describe her as black, about 40 years old, approximately five-feet-seven-inches in height and between 140 to 160 pounds in weight, with medium build.
She was dressed in a green jacket, a green and orange sleeveless dress with a peacock-feathers print design, black pants, and black boots.
Along with the wig, she had a dark green scarf wrapped around her head and was wearing a black medical face mask.
Windsor police have issued photos of the woman’s articles of clothing.
