NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A 10-year-old boy is dead and a man is hurt after a double shooting in Queens.
Police identified the boy as Justin Wallace, CBS2’s Kiran Dhillon reported Sunday.

The shooting happened inside a home on Beach 45th Street in Far Rockaway around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
Police said officers found Justin unconscious after he was shot in the torso. The boy was taken to the hospital, where he died.
Officers also found a 29-year-old man who was shot in the shoulder. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Sources identified him as the boy’s uncle.
Family members told Dhillon they are still in shock. Neighbors who witnessed the aftermath said it was difficult to watch.

“He wasn’t responsive. They were giving him CPR. It was very emotional to watch that,” said Anthony Woods. “It was a lot of people, but the cops were pushing everybody off the scene.”
According to police, the boy lived down the street from where the shooting happened.
There was no immediate word on what led to the shooting or a possible motive.
No arrests have been made.
