More than 25.8 million Covid-19 tests have been carried out in the UAE so far.
The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Tuesday reported 3310 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 3,791 recoveries.
The UAE has conducted over 25.8 million tests till date as part of the country’s massive screening programmes to combat the spread of Covid-19.

The UAE registered the highest daily average of Covid-19 vaccine doses with 220,000 jabs administered on Sunday while the number of new cases dropped to below 3,000 for the first time since January 12. The coming days and weeks will determine if the massive nationwide vaccination drive is showing its effect. It must be noted that the vaccine starts producing antibodies within 14 days after a person takes the second dose of the vaccine.
Meanwhile in Dubai, pubs and bars will remain closed till the end of February and cinemas and indoor entertainment venues, including sports facilities, will operate at 50 per cent capacity, according to a new set of precautionary measures announced by the Dubai Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management.
The authorities said tougher penalties will be slapped on those deliberately disregarding the preventive measures. Inspections will be intensified to ensure compliance with precautionary measures, which continue to be crucial in overcoming the pandemic and protecting the community, especially the most vulnerable sections.
