Over 27.2 million tests have been conducted across the country to date.
The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Wednesday reported 3,539 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 2,993 recoveries and 9 deaths.

The new cases were detected through 166,879 additional tests.
Over 27.2 million tests have been conducted across the country to date.
The total number of cases in UAE as on February 10 are 336,142 while total recoveries stand at 316,053. Death toll rises to 956.

Bahrain has announced the suspension of all prayers and religious events at mosques for two weeks, effective from Thursday, February 11.
Earlier this week, Saudi Arabia too announced a decision to close a number of mosques after the detection of new Covid cases among worshippers and mosque employees.
Closer to home, Ras Al Khaimah is the latest emirate to announce fresh Covid-19 restrictions. Authorities on Wednesday reduced operating capacities across commercial establishments and public spaces, as it steps up the fight against the pandemic.
