Reports of her returning to the WWE have been floating for quite some time. The rumour of her return started right after this year’s Royal Rumble. Even though this much was known, there was no clarity about the brand she would be a part of. But since that has been announced by the WWE now, fans clearly can’t keep calm to watch her upcoming match.
Ripley has been out of the WWE circuit after her last women’s Royal Rumble match. Her major singles encounter ended in a defeat against Raquel Gonzalez in the Last Woman Standing match on NXT’s New Year’s Evil special. The ace wrestler, in November 2018, was crowned as the first-ever NXT UK women’s champion. Apart from that, in December 2019,she ended Shayna Baszler’s 416 days long reign as the NXT women’s champion.
