‘Staying Healthy’ Programme

Due to the global pandemic, people have been working from home, social distancing, and have avoided going out to avoid being exposed to the virus.

With living in closed spaces, gyms shutting down and not being able to exercise, it has been hard to stay healthy and many people have witnessed significant weight gain during this time.

The ‘Staying Healthy’ programme in Abu Dhabi has been launched to help people of determination in staying healthy during these uncertain times.

The initiative is in collaboration with the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination and Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA).

The programme involves a medical consultation with the patient and their family at a centre where weekly follow up sessions are offered to help manage their nutrition and weight. The families can ask the doctors any questions they may have in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The aim of the programme is to make the families aware of the health issues that can arise from obesity and to guide them on their course to a healthy lifestyle.

.@zhoCare, in coordination with SEHA, is offering the Staying Healthy programme to provide people of determination with advice around nutrition and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
